RE: [Doepfer_a100] doepfer case

2003-10-28 by David Salter

That should be a linear 12V power supply for Doepfer, Analogue Systems
and Analogue Solutions.

I agree with Julian, it may not be cheaper depending on the materials
you use.

If you look at the picture of my rig:

/My+A100+modular&.src=gr&.order=&.view=t&.done=http%3a//briefcase.yahoo.
com/

The lower case is made from hardwood with Schroff type rails and holds
18U of modules, this worked out quite expensive. The top rack holds12U
of modules, is made of cheap shlving board from a DIY store with
softwaood battons that the modules screww into directly, this cost about
70 pounds (including the PSU and A100 bus boards) not as flexible though
as you need to plan your layout carefully as you are tapping into the
wood.

	what country are you in?

if your willing to get your hands dirty, then a linier 15v psu
and some
schroff or apw pieces may not work out much cheaper, but may
afford you some
	additional flexibility
