If I remember correctly (and it's been a long time) I saw a synth that even
had control voltage input controlling the control voltage scale on a CV
input to the VCO! I think it was a Serge. Anything is possible, but often
too expensive. You can replace pots with voltage controlled circuits that
emulate them. I saw some circuits on a SSM2018 data sheet.
