I was about to make that very suggestion. I use a Sonuus G2M into a Dark Energy and can tap both MIDI and CV from there. The G2M itself tracks guitar quite well, at least in a studio setting. Getting the synth dialed in can be a bit finicky but what in analog land isn't? The G2M goes for only about $100 so you can't go too far wrong. They also have a unit that does pitch to MIDI through USB that's also under $100. Has anyone thought about using one of the cheaper guitar pitch to MIDI converters (such as the one by Sonuus), then straight into a MIDI/CV module? That could work.... Dieter, I'm sure people would accept the issues, you explain them very well. I'm a programmer and hardware designer myself so I can quite understand the difficulties of extracting pitch from a complex waveform :-) I look forward to any possible release you might do in the future... regards PhilipJ
