I have added page 13 of the preliminary A-190-3 user's manual to the info page of the A-190-3. The document describes the functions of the jumpers. The rest of the user's manual will come soon (but it's 98% identical to the A-190-2). You are right: removing JP2 and JP2 disconnects Gate (JP2) and CV (JP3) from the A-100 bus.
