How easy is it to extend the range of the fine tune control on the
A-110 (the A-110 page on the Doepfer website says only "can be
modified for a wider range").

As standard it's set to the extremely limited range of +/- a semitone,
which is useful for precise tuning of several VCOs to the same pitch
but quite useless if you want to tune to a different interval.

Also the Range controls on my two A-110s have several more positions
than the five marked on the panel - is that normal on the current
model?
