A rooms length is no problem (10 to 15M) provided screened cable is used and you are careful where you route the cable

Always use the thickest and most flexible cable that will fit the plugs you are using

Dont bother special cables require another special cable to replace it with if anything goes wrong stick to standard cables as these are interchangable and if one goes dead just use another one to replace it with
