No no no please!  All of that space is desperately needed for modules -- it would be a total 
waste of space to use 8HP for the mains.

It does seem problematic to have the carrying handle affixed to the lid -- I've had the lid 
accidentally fall off of my suitcase before because it wasn't properly latched, and I wouldn't 
have wanted to have been carrying it by the lid at the time....
