PAUL ROARK UT14 ICC Profiles

2010-03-19 by pahtspix

Hello Group..I'm hoping someone can help me with this problem..I Do have Paul's ICC profiles installed in the proper place along with all my other ICC profiles in my Vista system (c>windows>system 32>spool>drivers>color)..BUT they do NOT show up on my dropdown menue in Photoshop CS3 along with all my other ICC profiles that DO show up..I have no problem with Paul's ACV curve files in the curves menue, but this ICC problem is baffleing me..Does anyone have an idea what is happening here..Again..I can SEE them installed following the above path..But NOT available to me in Photoshop when I go to print using "Photoshop Manages Colors"..
THX in advance for any responses!

They don't show even after restarting the Photoshop? You can try right-clicking on profiles and selecting Install Profile to see if it makes them visible. If you type "color management" in Run dialog, are these profiles visible in All Profiles?

THX IGOR..

It appears I still needed to "ADD" them to "ALL PROFILES"..It's stange beecause I NEVER have had to do that before, and I must have installed at least 50 ICC profiles prior to these..NOW they show up in the CS3 "drop-down" list..
Much appreciated..

I may have a similar issue. I am using Windows 7 64 bit. I have installed lots of profiles on my previous Xp machine. I have installed profiles on the new Windows 7 Machine. All show up in Photoshop but they do not show up in the color management section of Lightroom. Where is "All Profiles" Located? Anybody know why they do not show up in Lightroom?

As I recall, Lightroom requires you to select each profile you wish to
use with Lightroom from within Lightroom, and will list it only after
this has occurred. So you would need to select any relavent profiles
once, for them to show up. The profile directory is in the same
location ad under XP or Vista; the easiest way to find it is to do a
search using a known profile name.

Here is how you add the profiles so you can use them in Lightroom:

In the Lightroom print module, in the right hand window, "Profile:" is shown under Print Job>Color Management. Click on it to open up a new little window with the profiles you've previously chosen to use in Lightroom. At the bottom of that window, it says "Others..."

Click on that and a new window opens that shows all the profiles on your computer (at least I think it shows them all). You click on the box next to the ones you want to show in the "Profile:" window. From that point on, they will be listed in the drop down window under "Profile:"
