Russ,
I have not used the UT2 inks with the Classic Pearl paper, but they should
react much like the EZ inks you've used. The inputs are the same. One
difference might be that the hextone printers might put more fluid in the
midtones. If that paper has trouble absorbing the water, then there could
be some blotchiness there, but I'm speculating. If that is the case,
however, there are other papers that should work and be close to what you're
getting.

Subject: [Digital BW] UT2 Ink/Classic Pearl
Hi Gang.................
I have been using an Epson C66
with MIS EZN Inks and Ilford
Classic Pearl paper.......
Now the paper says it's suppose
to be for Dye inks, but it has been
giving me great looking prints.
I have had two copies of the same print hanging
on a wall with indirect sunlight for almost a year
now and there seems to be no difference between
the one framed behind glass and the one open
to the direct air and sunlight.
I am going to purchase a refurbished
Epson 1280 (I am already using one for color)
for B&W printing.
I am wondering how the UT2 Inks
from MIS will work with the Classic
Pearl Paper?
