Sticking down matte papers

Sticking down matte papers

2006-11-15 by Richard Smallfield

Hi,
Paul, you recommended the Premier Dual Sided Matte, which I found comes in 13" rolls ... so if I can get them to ship it down here, I will buy a roll.

My question is ... because it is only 210gsm, I would have to stick down the longer prints (800-1000mm) to stop buckling.

What is the effect on archival qualities of papers such as this of using Perfect Mount to stick the photo down? (I gather that is what the framers use.)

thanks,
Richard

I have not used that product. I found my usual tape hanging (2 tapes) works
fine with an 800 mm x 400 mm image on the 210 paper, with an over-mat, of
course.

I hope the ITSupplies shipping works for you. The prices are outrageously
low.

It's not a perfect paper, but for the price, it's an amazing deal.
