Morning group! I have been getting great results with QTR 2.2a using 2200 and the UC inks but have decided to see how much more can be obtained using the MIS UT inks. Is there an easy way to get QTRgui to list the curves for the new inkset or should I just clean/reinstall? Thanks! Guy

Unless you are changing printers, all the curves should be in the drop-down boxes. -Stephen www.sbillard.org/Stephen

Hi Steve, The only curves in my drop down or the Quadtone\Quad2200 directory were the Ultrachrome UC curves. I did find the profiles directory which contained the *.qidf files for the UT MK/PK cool/neutral/sepia/warm curves and was able to generate curves from these but are there paper specific curves for the UT inks that didn't install for me? Thanks for your help! No. The install has only the UC inks. The set of ink descriptor files is greater than the curves that are installed. -Stephen www.sbillard.org/Stephen

Guy, I've compared QTR 2.2 with Epson inks with another print done (on another printer) with Ultratone inks from MIS. Both are beautiful. At a viewing distance, I see no difference at all. QTR is _that_ good. Very good. Daniel http://www.dlridings.com/paw2005
