Digital BW, The Print

I've been using QTR for a short time now and it works. I have gui .28.

After reading all the trouble people are having with the latest versions, I am reluctant to try a newer version. Could anyone tell me why I should upgrade from and old, but stable version to a newer, apparently problematic version?

I *will* pay you Roy - I've got cashflow problems at present, however, due to chronic illness.

My 2 cents is if QTR is working to your satisfaction then don't 
upgrade  -- at least not for awhile.  Expect many changes to this 
evolving product  -- but not w/o issues. Now that the roll paper 
option is working I'm staying put for a bit.  These guys are doing a 
great job given the resources -- better than ImagePrint ...

As Steve has mentioned, you probably don't have to upgrade each 
little version.  The basic print engine has had very few  updates
lately.  The main issues lately have been trying to interface with different
versions of Windows and international characters.   Neither Stephen or
I have access to all these combinations so we have to depend on others
to help out -- and many thanks to them!

With releases that have significant additions I'll note them on the web site.
