Which model Epson

Which model Epson

I have a brand new Epson C82 which I will use with EZ inks. Is there a good
reason to purchase a C86, or will the C82 perform as well for B&W?

Harold,

I tried printing B&W on the 825 but couldn't get rid of the green color cast
produced by the Epson inks. I bought a C84 that I use with the MIS-EZ
inks and lowered my frustration level 200 points. I now use the 825 for 8x10
color, which it handles quite well.

Cheers,

Maybe faster printing.
And the C86 can be purchased for about $70 after rebate.

You're going to to blown away by this combo when your first print
ejects from the printer!

I would install the carts and let them sit in the printer for at
least 2 hours before running a nozzel check. Run a few if you need
to. Even a cleaning cycle is o.k., but don't do more. If you still
can't get a good nozzel check, let it sit another 2 hours and try
again.

Once I was able to get a good nozzel check, I haven't had any
problems.

I run a nozzle check (NOT a cleaning cycle) before each printing
SESSION. So far, no clogged nozzles.

Happy printing,

Scott
