Question for Paul R.

I tried putting the light cyan cart in the yellow slot with the ut7
ink and the epson driver wont let it print. Any way around this
other than continuous flow or swapping the chip?

Frankly, I forget if I used a Y chip or if I used what works on the C82. ON
that printer, once a cart is put into its proper positing and "used," its
position information is eliminated and it will go into any spot without
problems. So, try moving the LC cart form the LC position to the Y position
and see if it works.

If the MIS chips behave like the Epson ones it's not going to be
possible to change the position without switching chips.

I just tried swapping the LC and Y in my 2200, and it didn't work.

So, you're going to need an Y chip to put on the LC cart for it to be put in
the Y position.

I just swapped chips. A scalpel to carefully remove the top plastic
rivet head and small piece of double stick mounting tape and its
done. Thanks for the input all.
