Digital BW, The Print

Hi all... I'm noticing some banding in large black areas using the BO method on a 
2200.  These don't seem to be missing lines of ink, as it would be if a head were 
clogged.  The bands are about 1/4" wide and vary in tone from the deepest black to a 
dark gray, in a pattern of repeated 1/4 to 3/8" stripes.

Any ideas would be appreciated :-)

Whoa, I've never seen that!  Do you get this if you print the same B&W
image using all inks?  Can you scan a section and post it somewhere?

hi rich.... it'd be difficult for me to get a scan since i don't own a flatbed scanner.  i will try 
printing with all inks and see what happens...
