There may be a problem either with the way the MIS cartridges are
seated or the pertaining chips. Make sure they are pushed all the
way down and held securely by the tie wrap. Try this: push the
cartridge replacement button, then unplug the power after the
cartridges have moved all the way to the left. Try wiggling them,
just to make sure they are all the way down, even a 1/16" gap at the
bottom will keep the red light on. Push the cartridges all the way
to the right, then plug the printer back on. If this does not solve
the problem, you may have a bad chip in one of the cartridges or it
may have been damaged during installation. MIS may replace it for
you, or else you can order replacement chips, they are about $15
each.
