Introducing myself.

Introducing myself.

2001-08-03 by Rodolpho Pajuaba

Hello, all,
This is my first post to the group, I want to introduce myself:
My name is Rodolpho Pajuaba, I'm a photographer in Curitiba, Brazil, and I
work with digital photography for three and half years now, with a
MegaVision S2 digital Back. My main interest in the Black&white/Digital mix
is to make good big negatives to work on cyanotypes and palladium/platinum
prints. Some of this job can be seen on my website, www.pajuaba.com.br (it's
in portuguese), under "ensaios".

Welcome Rudolpho,

It is nice to see that the group is literally spanning the globe
already. I enjoyed your site and the cyanotypes. I wish I could see
them in person.

I would also be interested in your workflow in going straight from
digital to B&W output. Do you shoot in B&W mode or do you convert to
B&W in photoshop? What method are you using to make the negatives for
the cyanotype prints?

Introducing myself.

2001-11-06 by reefboy37@yahoo.com

Hello everyone,

My name is Brandon, and I'm about to dive face first into the world
of digital B&W printing. I've been teaching a darkroom class at
Texas A&M University for a couple of years. Kinda tired of the
chemicals, so traded them in for Photoshop. Now the only problem is
I've got all of these photo's sitting in my hard drive waiting to
come out. I'll probably go for the epson 1280, and CIS setup. I'm
glad I found this group. Gets pretty frustrating trying to extract
info from internet search engines.

Good to be here,

Brandon

Good choice, Brandon
I`´ve got the opportunity to play with Piezo, MIS FS and MIS VM
inks. Today I would recommend MIS VM with Paul Roarks´s
# 13 curves (found in the files section).
Good luck.
