Thanks.  These are direct scans from B&W film, not scans of prints.  I have
yet to acquire a way of making nice B&W prints, for reasons of budget and
ignorance.

An Epson 1160 with the Piezo plug-in or curves from the MIS site and 
the MIS FS-N inkset plus EEM paper is about as cheap as there is to 
get into digital b&w printing up to A3+ size. And it's also pretty 
hard to beat this combination, whatever the price.

hi Jon - I KNOW he isn't trying to learn something. It takes a lot to get
kicked off the LUG and even more to get kicked off the sp list - I used to
co-admin it - and he is the only person so honoured.
