Re: [Digital BW] Piezo and MIS VM?

Keith, You cannot use the Piezo driver with the MIS-VM ink sets. The ink densities of the two ink sets do not match and the print with the Piezo driver and MIS-VM gives you weird blue print. Remember the toner ink is in the VM set. Both the Piezo driver and the Epson driver give good results. I tend to prefer the Epson driver for smooth toned subjects but in all honesty I could not look at a print and tell you which driver was used. Sometimes with a loupe I can see the underlying Piezo dither which is a window screen pattern but not if everything is running well. The Piezo plug-in works with all the supported printers which are Epson only. The EPSON 860, 980, 1160, 1200, 1280, 1290, 3000, 7000, 7500, 9000 & 9500 are supported. Piezo color driver I am not aware of and I don't have any info for you. You might check out Antonis' Archival Color group.
