Re: [Digital BW] Silverfast vs. Vuescan

jjl, I have used both and I much prefer the Silverfast interface. One really nice thing about Vuescan is the price. Silverfast's cost can get really steep depending upon the specific scanner. Ultimately using a raw scan workflow and adjusting in PS they can achieve the same result. Can't tell you about the color neg side, although Silverfast does have "Negafix" to color correct different films. Strictly B&W here. <G> Martin Wesley http://www.borderless-photos.de/guests.html ----- Original Message ----- From: "jjlphoto" <jjlphoto@...> To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Sunday, June 23, 2002 6:27 PM Subject: [Digital BW] Silverfast vs. Vuescan > Does anybody have any knowledge of Silverfast vs. Vuescan?
