Exhibit at Elverhoj Museum, Solvang, California by Paul Roark

Exhibit at Elverhoj Museum, Solvang, California by Paul Roark

As a long time member of this group, I thought I would let list members know that I will be having an exhibit at the Elverhoj Museum in Solvang, CA, from mid-February to mid-April. I'll be showing a variety of the B&W printing media and approaches I've used over the years, including my last silver print. All free.

Solvang, CA is about 2 1/2 hours north west of Los Angeles, over the hill (35 minutes) from Santa Barbara, wither via 101 (coast route) or the 154 (over San Marcos Pass).

See my website at www.PaulRoark.com for more detail. There will be an opening reception on Feb. 16.

If you have particular interests in some of the images or want a private walk-thru of the exhibit with my comments, contact me off list at roark.paul at gmail.com.

This, as well as other discussion groups like this, have been very valuable sources of information for those of us who enjoy the processes of making our own serious B&W prints.

Cheers,

Paul

Thanks for the invite.

I hope the exhibit goes well. I wish I could see the prints from the Master in person. The distance is a bit prohibitive, unfortunately (Europe, UK)...

All the best,
Patryk
