REPLACING 7800

REPLACING 7800

2015-07-10 by arlenelove3@...

Thank you all for your considered responses. You can tell that I am
reluctant to give up my 7800, but all the repair people I spoke to,
including Epson, were skeptical about obtaining parts.

The 3880 and P800 are the same price. I don't believe Epson really has
parts for 10 years. Therefore, I think the newest is the best bet.
You have all helped me make up my mind. Many thanks.

Best of luck with your purchase of the Epson P800 Arlene.

Do you intend to use the Epson inks or any third party inks? If the latter
please recall the advice of others, i.e., the P800 does not yet have an
available system for using third party inks from sources such as MIS and Jon
Cone.
