Epson 2400 Clogging

Epson 2400 Clogging

2014-04-23 by <parkersmithphoto@...>

I have an Epson 2400 with Eboni and for some reason I am completely unable to get it to print a clean nozzle check. I've even replaced the carts with Cone's red cleaning solution and run cleaning cycles, nozzle checks galore and I'm still getting clogged jets. Funny thing is, it was running perfectly just last week, and I made several very nice prints. Any ideas? I'm about to pull my hair out!

Well, I seem to have figured this out. For my purposes, Cone's red solution did not work. I had to pull all the carts, clean the underside of the print head with a paper towel soaked with Windex, then I used on of the nozzle cleaning syringes to force windex down through the heads. Also cleaning the wiper and the parking pads with Windex. It's now perfect.

Glad that you have recovered the use of your printer and thanks for providing instructions for cleaning.
