Hi Jordan - check your spam folder for my email below. I removed our emails from this public posting. I did resond to both your requests personally. From: Jon Cone Subject: Re: System to buy Date: December 2, 2013 9:42:48 PM EST To: "Jordan " Hi Jordan, you need to select an ink set and a set of cartridges from here: http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c.362672/sc.15/category.8994/.f You then need to download QuadTone RIP for windows OR QuadTone RIP and QTR Print Tool for Mac OS X from www.quadtonerip.com But you do not use the QTR manual. While you use the QTR printer driver, and we supply the K7 curves to QuadTone RIP and they are included in the download, the workflow you must use is in our manual located here: http://www.piezography.com/PiezoPress/technical-support/ The installation instructions for your printer model are also located on that page. It is very easy to use once set up - you can see a movie of how to print here: http://www.piezography.com/PiezoPress/easy-to-use/ Let me know if you have other questions. Jordan, I followed Jon's instructions and had no problems. Only suggestions is to make sure the print head our your 3800 is really clean --- no gaps in the nozzle check pattern. I found a gap in one of my 3800 ink channels and it created an unacceptable print artifact. But you can switch the ink to another channel as the UC uses 8 channels ink and K7 uses 7 inks. The K7 system is wonderful.
