Epson 1430, Eboni-6, and Picture Window-Pro

Epson 1430, Eboni-6, and Picture Window-Pro

2013-01-13 by John

I'm setting up my Epson 1430 with the Eboni-6 inkset. I've looked
through Paul Roark's excellent info on the subject.

Has anyone developed a workflow that they could share based around the Picture Window-Pro software?

Thanks!

Hi

I'm doing the same thing. Should I go right away with the E-6 and not installing the original cartridges? I intend to do only B&W.

Thanks

Yes, I would load the Eb6 and not the Claria. Save the Claria until you
need or want it.

As to Picture Window Pro workflows, it's been too long since I've used it
to remember its features. If it has curves, you can use those to profile
the inkset. If it supports ICCs, those that have an "rgb" in the title, at
the end of the name, should work as well with that editor as Photoshop. QTR
in Windows is a stand-alone program that will work fine also regardless of
image editor. The profiles are in a Zip file that is linked to

Re: [Digital BW] Epson 1400: transforming refillable carts into CFS?

2013-01-15 by Sylvain M.

Hi all,

Since Inksupply provides all needed spare parts, I wonder
whether I would be able to improve my refillable carts into a complete
CFS. If I have well understood what I need, it would cost me around 35$
and some work (but I am a good handyman).

Is it something completely
mad or may I go on with my project?

Regars

Entirely feasible, provided you can attach the tubes to the MIS carts. (I suspect you can.)
