Hawk Mountain papers closing

2012-10-11 by dfaprinting

Not sure how many of you are still on the mailing lists, but I just got this today:

"Liquidation Sale - Closing our Georgia Location - All Papers and Fabrics 40% OFF or Priced as Marked on our Website

We will be clearing our shelves at our Georgia Location by the end of 2012. If you check our website you will find a new, reduced price for all of our remaining Georgia paper stocks. This offer is only good while supplies last.

Certain of the Hawk Mountain papers will continue to be available through Williams Imaging Services of Warkworth, Ontario, Canada. Our Condor BriteWhite, Condor Natural and Sparrowhawk papers will continue to be available in all popular sheet and rolls sizes and will dropship from New York for US orders placed with Williams Imaging Services. These are the exact same papers made by the same US paper mills so purchase them with confidence. Prices for sizes in these papers which are already out of stock in Georgia will remain at their established, retail prices on our website. Orders placed on our website for these out-of-stock papers will be handed to Williams for fulfillment."

"We have decided to close down the business after 15 years due to the continuing recession (since 2008!) and the gradual decline in our sales. Current revenues do not make it worthwhile to continue. That's business.

Thank you to all of you, our loyal customers, for your support over the past fifteen years. It has been a good run. We have enjoyed getting to know many of you and we hope that through our efforts we brought quality inkjet media into your life and delivered good value.

I will write to y'all again before we fold the tent for good at the end of 2012. I will also provide suggestions for other sources for papers and fabrics in my farewell address.

Dan Blevins - President"
