Wouldn't an alternative be to use one of the F-type glossy or semi-matte papers for color,so avoiding the need to switch an MK channel back over to Glop? Is it straight-forward to turn off the Glop channel when printing with these papers on the R1800? Sorry for the previous garbled message. So much for the Yahoo rich-text editor.
