Not the expert here, but I believe you are comparing apples to oranges. The PrintFixPro is a system that will enable you to build profiles while ImagePrint is a RIP that has profiles made by them to use through the print drivers that are part of the program. MAJOR difference in cost with ImagePrint being at least twice(if not more than)the price of PrintFixPro. Profiles made with PrintFixPro are used with the Photoshop drivers. With ImagePrint you have to take your images out of Photoshop and print them through ImagePrint. I've read that the ImagePrint profiles for B&W are very good, but the new version(2.0)of PrintFixPro can now also produce profiles for B&W. I recently made a profile with PFP v2.0, for use with Epson K3 on Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl. I've only made 2 test prints, a Bill Atkinson color test image and a B&W test image from Keith Cooper. I was very pleased with the outcome. --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "bobphoto" <bobphoto@...> wrote: > > I'm considering a profiler.
