Guy: I cut and pasted your values into a text file (.txt) and had no problems creating a profile and output file. I don't know what to tell you. You could download the program again. Check you data file for extra spaces at the end of each line and at the end of the data. Did you use a true text editor like notepad to leave no formatting behind? --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "guy_staley" <guy_staley@...> wrote: > > Using the Create ICC program, I'm getting this error, even though I can see no problems > with my data. > > Here's the input text file: > > Gray Lab_L > 0 95 > 5 89 > 10 85 > 15 81 > 20 77 > 25 74 > 30 70.5 > 35 67 > 40 65 > 45 62 > 50 59 > 55 56 > 60 54 > 65 51 > 70 47 > 75 44 > 80 40 > 85 37 > 90 30 > 95 23 > 100 14 > > And here's the output text file: > > > QTR-Create-ICC version 2.4.2.0 > > File: /Users/guystaley/Desktop/2200_EEM_MHW_Test1-out.txt > Step Dens Lab A B > 0.00 0.000 0.00 0.00 0.00 L b + > 25.00 0.000 0.00 0.00 0.00 L b + > 50.00 0.000 0.00 0.00 0.00 L b + > 75.00 0.000 0.00 0.00 0.00 L b + > 100.00 0.000 0.00 0.00 0.00 L b + > > The Lab values are not in order. > Cannot make a profile.
