Richard, You may also want to adjust your print quality and dry time. If the banding is not file related, then adjustments to the printer may get rid of them. Is this a normal size print for you? Sometimes techniques used at one print size don't work so well at other print sizes. Good luck. The horizontal alignment is notoriously difficult to get right. My horizontal alignment sheet shows so much banding it's impossible to tell which of the boxes are best aligned. I remember Clayton had good results with the lower settings (1-2) in spite of obvious gaps on the alignment sheet. I'm not sure if you have to go through the whole alignment process after the horizontal alignment. The color alignment is slow and tedious to go through. Also try both the thick and normal paper settings. Sometimes on of them will have banding while the other is fine. -- Daniel Staver http://daniel. <http://daniel.staver.no> staver.no > I'm doing some proofs before a large mural on my 2100 ... > they have started to show banding in spite of a clear nozzle check. > > What should I do next????
