Hi all, I'm currently creating the QTR curves for the recently acquired UT-3D inks on my Epson 2100. In a first iteration, the basic cold, warm and selenium curves seem to be OK. Till so far I like the UT-3D set. An interesting setting to me is something like 70% warm and 30% selenium, giving a ochre-like toning. As a next step, it would be really nice if I could get a olive/greenish tone as well. This lies clearly outside the gamut of the UT-3D set. But I would be willing to give up the neutral LK (only there to make the set compliant with the Epson driver) for a (custom) green toner. I'm willing to mix myself, as long as I can use standard, MIS compliant inks. I don't see myself grinding my own pigments ;-). Obviously I could use a yellow-cyan-carbon mixture. But my issue is that this won't be a very good archival one because of the yellow. I see some dedicated red and blue inks here and there, but did find a green one yet. So, is anyone aware of an archival green ink? As an alternative I could try a cyan-dilluted carbon mixture, with the carbon as a low gamut yellow. Have not tried it (no bulk cyan ink yet), but would expect the obtainable gamut to be rather small. Any opnions on this one? Thanks in advance and kind regards, Joost
