Try various head alignment settings. The horizontal alignment is notoriously difficult to get right. My horizontal alignment sheet shows so much banding it's impossible to tell which of the boxes are best aligned. I remember Clayton had good results with the lower settings (1-2) in spite of obvious gaps on the alignment sheet. I'm not sure if you have to go through the whole alignment process after the horizontal alignment. The color alignment is slow and tedious to go through. Also try both the thick and normal paper settings. Sometimes on of them will have banding while the other is fine. -- Daniel Staver http://daniel.staver.no > I'm doing some proofs before a large mural on my 2100 ... > they have started to show banding in spite of a clear nozzle check. > > What should I do next????
