I'm not selling anything, but just for the sake of comparison, my 2200 with the open source approach outlined at http://home1.gte.net/res09aij/4K+.pdf can do carbon to neutral, split tones, and glossy for a fraction of the cost all without changing any inks. I doubt very much that anyone can see a quality difference when one goes from 5 to 6 or 7 gray inks. In fact, the 5K approach uses all 7 ink positions. I've studied the highlights of images made with either just the LLK or the LLK + LLLK, and it is there, but very slight. I may well drop the LLLK and go to 4 carbon inks in order to add yellow or red for better sepia and paper tone control. So, if one wants it all and is not in a position to afford lots of printers, there is a very cost effective alternative that is clog free and extremely flexible. Paul www.PaulRoark.com
