One print, on one system is hardly conclusive. I ran test with the ProB&W 24 software, with a 7000 and Cones WT Peizo inks. I could certainly see a difference between them. But back then all the out put files were also at 720 dpi. These were for 5x5, 8x8 and some 16x120, so most of the images were small enough to work at 16 bit. It was not enough of a difference to continue at that workflow when the prints got bigger AND we got better at keeping within the sweet spot of the software and inks.
