And they won't print well by fooling them into not using certain colors (many inkjets, fooled into not using the colors will leave all grays lighter then medium gray blank, as they mix light grays entirely from colors). Even replacing the 2400 yellow cart with a carbon-tone cart then requires custom profiling to compensate for the change. The new pigment HPs will print in a "black and gray" only mode that resembles what you are asking for, and it will be satisfactory to many users. But its neutrality will vary with the paper used, and does not offer the control that serious black and white users are looking for. C.
