I replaced all at the same time for 2 reasons: 1. I didn't want to reprofile. (I dislike that particular chore.) I ran a purge pattern after the K4 carts were installed and before I built the profiles. 2. I wanted to keep a set of OEM inks on hand in case I ran into quality problems. I actually replaced my set a little before I needed to for this reason. I taped the exit ports and sealed them in a baggie. I learned to do this when running 3rd party inks and a CIS in an 1160 that was prone to a variety of ailments that were hard to diagnose. I find the K4 inks to be quite good once profiles are in place. And very very few clogs. I love this printer. Linda
