I am getting a second 2200 printer, which will be dedicated to B&W. I have been using MIS EZ inks in an Epson C86, and find that I can produce the complete range of tones I want by mixing EZN and EZW cartridges in the various positions. (My standard for Kirkland glossy paper is EZN in the Cyan and Magenta position, and EZW in the yellow slot.) I like the simplicity of the EZ system, and the economy and ease of using only four bottles of ink for all possible combinations: PhotoBlack, Eboni, EZN (cyan position) and EZW (cyan position). Is there any reason why I could not use the same inks in the 2200, and create appropriate printer profiles with PrintFix Pro so that I would end up with: Blk position: PhotoBlack or Eboni Light Black position: Light Black (2200 version) Cyan position: EZN or EZW Magenta position: EZN or EZW Yellow position: EZN or EZW Light Cyan position: Light Black (2200 version) Light Magenta position: Light Black (2200 version) If this were possible, I would need to add only EZN and EZW to my supply of inks for the 2200. I don't know about you, but for me, $50 a pint starts adding up! Thanks. Myron
