Alternately, you can crop a section of your image and drag it to a new, blank file. Do it as many times as the crop fits. These each become layers. Turn all layers off except one and print. Then, turn off the layer you just printed, turn on a new layer and print, printing it differently. You can proof many samples of the image on one page. I like to proof on the paper I will use for my final print so that I know exactly what I will get.
