Digital BW, The Print

I posted these questions on the QTR Group but have not seen any 
answers as of yet. I thought I'd try here and see.

"I thought I'd ask the group a few questions and see what the 
consensus 
is. I do most of my work in Windows XP but will be printing through a 
Mac G4 to an Epson 7600. I have a 2200 at home that I plan to do my 
nearly proof prints before putting the file to be printed on a CD and 
transferring it to the Mac. I'm doing the large prints this way 
because the 7600 is one place and my XP setup is at home. First, Is 
there any Gray space incompatibility between the XP version of QTR and 
the Mac Version? Is there any workflow between the two systems I 
should be aware of? Secondly, if I work out a profile using the XP 
version of QTR can I just transfer that to the Mac Version?"
