Julian,
Guess what? I had the very same issue with paper not catching on my
2400. It drove me crazy. I called Epson tech support several times and
tried their suggestions. Only lightweight papers went thru the printer
easily.
Finally, they sent me a new printer and the issues disappered! Even
heavier weight papers fly thru just fine.
I suggest that you do the same. They are well aware that there are
issues with paper feeding and the 2400.
Good luck!
Howard
