I have a 1280 with stubborn clog on the light magenta jet. I'm using UT2 ink and thought I'd just go through life without yellow. I probably don't yellow if I'm just printing neutral or carbon prints right? So, is there a way to reconfigure Paul's curves so that I can put the "LM" ink in the yellow position and have the printer know where to find it? You're thinking I should just get rid of the clog? I've tried repeated flushes with MIS nozzle fluid to no avail. Maybe there's a better way. Maybe there's a better printer. I've gone through two 1280s now using MIS inks and it seems I've used most of my ink on cleaning and related test prints... I get beautiful prints when it all works, but there must be a more MIS-friendly printer out there. great thanks for any wisdom. best, jonathan
