You can put anything you want into a 2200 if you are using a RIP to
control it.  When I had a 2200 I experimented with custom ink blends,
and several others in this forum have reported using custom mixtures.
 Some are using Epson K3 with R1800 toners, some using PT-K7, etc.  So
to answer your question, yes it can be done.  I'm using R2 warm (no
toners) in a R200 and am finding it to be a very fine ink set.
