Digital BW, The Print

Hello all,

It's funny, I think I understand every single word that is discussed 
in this group.  However, I can only understand the concepts a small 
portion of the time.

I'm in awe of the overall knowledge of the folks here.

I would like to know why some workflows suggested by members convert 
grayscale tones to color instructions -- Cyan, Yellow, Magenta & 
Black and other workflows don't seem to do the conversions.  Am I 
overlooking something here?

Specifically, I'm using an 1160 with the original MIS Quadtone set.  
I've tried different workflows suggested on the MIS site.  Some 
change the screen view to color and others don't.  Why?

I appreciate anyone's help to make this clear to a feeble mind.
