Martin, I believe that I am correct in saying that the working space should *not* be the monitor profile. Photoshop automatically uses the monitor profile recognized by the operating system (at least on the PC). The working space should represent something like the printer space (gamma 2.2, dot gain 20% or something like that). Photoshop "translates" from file to monitor and file to printer and the use of the monitor profile as working space will defeat the entire idea of "color" management. We are interested in seeing, on screen, the printer space. The monitor profile used as working space will limit the printed image to the monitor space. Perhaps there is something I am misunderstanding in this observation and, if so, someone should correct me.
