Are you letting the monitor "warm-up" first?

I've always let my monitor warm up, after being turned on, for at 
least 20 minutes before I do any "criticle work".

Let the monitor stay "on", without the screensaver being activated, 
and see if this helps.

Just a thought.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
