That makes no sense. If you want it delivered, Best Buy is still significantly cheaper. They charge about $10 for shipping. My plan is to use MIS cartridges, so cartridge cost is not a factor. I was going to order a refurb R200 from Epson until Paul talked me out of it, and I've been waiting for the inevitable sale, meanwhile practicing BO printing on my Canon i550. The value of $50 depends on the person. I don't particularly enjoy stores or lines, but ordering on line and stopping by at my leisure to pick it up is easily worth $50 to me. Or having it delivered for $40 less than Epson direct. Why not? It gets even better if you have a printer that uses these cartridges and want genuine Epson carts. You would actually save money buying the R220 at Bestbuy during the rebate period. For less than the cost of a set of cartridges, you get the carts, plus a printer you can sell, keep as a backup, or use as a dedicated B&W printer. --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, Sam McCandless <samcc@v...> wrote: > > >(via Dealnews) Through Jan 21 Bestbuy.com has the R220 for $95 and a > >$50 mail-in rebate form (or fill it out online, according to the > >form).
