Just as a general issue: you need to run ColorBase on your printer, and have 
the CB calibration active, before building a custom profile in order for 
ColorBase to be valid with that profile. If you don't do it in this order then the 
profile would be expected to be less accurate with ColorBase than without it. 

This may or may not address your particular case...
