Digital BW, The Print

I have a used 1280 that I picked up pretty cheap.  In one of the
Sunday adds, I found a R220 on sale for $50 (after mail-in rebates of
course.)  

I would appreciate any recommendations, pros/cons of the 1280 vs R220
in regards to general ease of switching to pigment ink, maintenance
and if any improved print quality for the newer printer.  Print size
is not really an issue as I rarely print anything bigger than letter
size.  I like papers with a pearl finish the best.
