Rejean - yes there is. If you have a spectrophotometer such as an EyeOne, you can (and should) use QTR Create ICC to profile the output of Epson Adv B&W at each of your favourite settings. You can use the ICC profile that's created to give you full colour soft proofing and luminance management when printing. I would not use the approach described below because it doesn't help you with luminance management when you actually go to print. > From: <CDTobie@...> > Reply-To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> > Date: Thu, 12 Jan 2006 22:57:47 EST > To: <rejean94@...>, <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> > Subject: Re: [Digital BW] [Epson-R2400] softproofing in advanced B&W > > > In a message dated 1/12/06 10:31:23 PM, rejean94@... writes: > > >> Are there any profiles to softproof images in that are printed in >> advanced B&W when the color toning is different than neutral ? >> > > There's really no direct way of defining what non-neutral tones are in this > non-ICC system.
