Digital BW, The Print

I have a 3000 and enjoy it.
I believe there are refillable carts available and that should be 
sufficient.  I have printed 3 full group exchanges with it.  For me 
that means 30ish prints x 3 plus 30ish more x 3, because I was 
showing color differences in the same exchange, plus another exchange 
worth of proofs, since I like to try variations at full scale.  All 
that and then soome on one set of cartidges.

I am able to use heavy traditional art papers as well without 
equipment error (occassional operator error ;-)

I have a STRONG suspicion about a new printer from Epson in the next 
9 months.  I have NO rationale for it other than the C80 is an 
obvious inheritor of the concept behind the Epson 3000.  Making use 
of larger scale individual, four ink, cartidges - as well as a new, 
much longer lasting ink.  It would make sense to test the field with 
this business printer, monitor error rate & incorporate that info 
before releasing a larger scale printer, to replace a well aged 3000.

I am going to wait a while and practice technique and study in 
anticipation of said printer.
